_Storyteller (Portrait of Christine Bellen)_

I fancied the idea of a writer painting portraits of his fellow writers. Christine Bellen is famous in the Philippines for her retelling of Mga Kuwento Ni Lola Basyang (The Stories of Grandmother Basyang). Her children's books have been adapted to different media, including children's ballet.

I finished this portrait on my son Nelson's birthday, then did some revisions the same day and the next day, my mother's birthday.
